Ntokozo Mdluli, popularly known by his stage name, K.O, is a South African rapper who rose to prominence with the group Teargas after releasing their critically acclaimed debut album K'shubile K'bovu in 2006, under Electromode Music.[1]
Teargas, which then had three members, K.O, Ntukza and Ma-E, later released three other albums titled, Wafa Wafa (2008), Dark or Blue (2009) and Number Number (2012) (stylized as Num8er Num8er) which were all commercially successful. K.O, co-runs a music and entertainment company called "Cashtime Life".

Personal life
In May 2014, K.O lost a significant amount of weight. This sent social media into a frenzy with rumours that K.O was HIV positive.[4] However, his manager Thabiso Khati denied those rumours stating that K.O had undergone a strict diet plan and was exercising regularly.[5][6] K.O later released a statement regarding his health and posted a picture of his blood test results on his Twitter and Instagram page, showing he was HIV negative.[7]
