KAAP (99.5 FM, "The Bridge") is a radio station broadcasting a hot adult contemporary format. Licensed to Rock Island, Washington, USA, the station serves the Wenatchee area. The station is currently owned by Cherry Creek Radio and licensed to CCR-Wenatchee IV, LLC and features programing from Premiere Radio Networks.[1]

History

The station went on the air as KXAA on 1988-06-24. On 2000-02-01, the station changed its call sign to the current KAAP.[2]

On May 6, 2016 at 12 noon KAAP changed their format from adult contemporary to hot adult contemporary, branded as "99.5 The Bridge".[3]

Ownership

In June 2006, a deal was reached for KAAP to be acquired by Cherry Creek Radio from Fisher Radio Regional Group as part of a 24 station deal with a total reported sale price of $33.3 million.[4]
