KBNJ (91.7 FM, "Life Changing") is a radio station broadcasting a contemporary Christian music format.[1] Licensed to Corpus Christi, Texas, USA, the station is currently owned by World Radio Network, Inc.[2]
History
The Federal Communications Commission issued a construction permit for the station on 1979-06-12.[3] The station was assigned the call sign KQIV on 1979-08-13. On 1983-07-27, the station changed its call sign to KFLB, and on 1984-07-18, to the current KBNJ.[4] On 1985-04-25, the station received its license to cover.[5]
