KFXM-LP (96.7 FM) is a low-power FM radio station broadcasting an oldies music format, from a large record library spanning the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, with over 35000 selections in rotation, including novelties and instrumentals. Licensed to Lancaster, California, USA, the station is owned by The Organization For the Preservation & Cultivation of Radio, a non profit 501-c3.[1]
The original KFXM was the Top Forty-formatted station at 590 kHz on the AM band in the San Bernardino and Riverside, California, market area. Currently KFXM broadcasts The Chris Compton Show radio like it used to be, MON-FRI 7:00 AM PT and Saturdays at 9:00 AM PT and "The Johnny Helm Show" (Johnny was one of the original KFXM DJs at KFXM 590 in the 1960s and 1970s) at 12:00 noon on Saturdays. KFXM continues to air the original KFXM jingles amid the 35000 selections that play on the station 24/7. KFXM strives to present its programming in the same way as if it were 1960 again. KFXM 96.7 has enough power to go to the hwy 18 & 138 jct in Victorville,CA
