History

The station was assigned the call letters KARO on 2002-06-25. On 2003-03-27, the station changed its call sign to KIDH and on 2008-09-24 to the current KGCL.^[3] From 2008 to 2010 KGCL aired a Southern Gospel and Positive Country format, carrying the programing of God's Country Radio Network.
