KZFS (1280 AM, "Up 99.3") is a contemporary Christian radio station in Spokane, Washington. The station is owned by iHeartMedia.

History

The station was originally known as KUDY and had a religious format until 2002 when it swapped signals with 590, with the latter's adult standards format occupying the 1280 signal. In 2005, it dropped the adult standards format for a progressive talk format. The station served as the Spokane, Washington affiliate of Air America Radio until Air America went off the air in January 2010. On March 26, 2012, the station flipped to classic country after sister KIXZ flipped to CHR.

On April 11, 2013, the format shifted again, this time to Fox Sports, and rebranded as "1280 Fox Sports Spokane".[1]

On April 10, 2015, KZFS changed their format to contemporary Christian, branded as "Up 99.3" (relayed on translator K257FX 99.3 FM).[2]
