His club career has been quite unstable, having played briefly for three English clubs (Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers and West Ham United) as well as in Spain[1] and Qatar. Diawara only scored once in English football, despite having three spells there. His sole goal came for Blackburn in a 6–1 League Cup win over Rochdale.[2] In France, he has played for teams like Bordeaux and Paris St Germain with some success. In the 2006–2007 season, he transferred to Gaziantepspor but after played none in 2007–08 season, he signed a contract until end of season for Ankaragücü. Despite being a striker, he never scored a league goal for any of his English clubs. On August 2008, he moved to Alki Larnaca in Cyprus. The Guinean forward was signed from AC Arles-Avignon on a free transfer, he was released by Cypriot club Alki Larnaca in December 2008.
