Kaella Carr (born September 8, 1983) is a Canadian television news anchor and reporter for CTV.

Early life

Carr was born in Windsor, Ontario on September 8th, 1983.

Career

She began her career in radio in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan as a reporter and anchor. She was hired, a year later, at CTV Prince Albert. She joined Lethbridge's CFCN-TV in May 2005. As of June 2010, she is the senior reporter (specializing in court and crime) and backup anchor.

Charity work

Carr previously served as the Vice President Alberta/NWT for the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada Lethbridge Chapter President and the Chair of the Youth Advisory Council of the Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada. In 2008, Carr and 11 other youth helped create The Gutsy Generation, for those 15-25 affected by Inflammatory Bowel Disease.

Personal life

Carr lives in Lethbridge, Alberta. She has one son (London) born October 1st, 2012.
