Kaland is a village in Austrheim municipality in Hordaland county, Norway. The village is located on the northwestern tip of the mainland Lindås peninsula, just west of the Mongstad industrial area. The 0.92-square-kilometre (230-acre) village has a population (2013) of 478, giving the village a population density of 520 inhabitants per square kilometre (1,300/sq mi).[1]
