Kalavu (Kannada:ಕಳವು) is a 2013 Kannada movie based on Dr KY Narayanaswamy's novel with the same title. Movie is a directorial debut of Ravi who as worked with the team of Hollywood cinema 'Inferno' and two French films 'Blue Mountains' and 'Child in Pondicherry' started his career from art direction.[1] The film stars Umashree, Kari Subbu, Hulagappa Kattimani and others.

Soundtrack
Legendary drum player with international acclaim Shivamani with topnotch Kannada film music director and lyricist Hamsalekha released the audio album of 'Kalavu'.[2] Runa Rizvi, Muni Reddy, MD Pallavi and Sriram have lent their voice for four songs. One of the four in the album is ‘Harikathe’ by MD Pallavi.[3]
