Kaldfjord is a village at the southeastern end of the Kaldfjorden in the municipality of Tromsø in Troms county, Norway. It is located on the island of Kvaløya about 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) northwest of the city of Tromsø. There are several villages located around Kaldfjord including Kjosen, Ersfjordbotn, and Kvaløysletta. The 0.75-square-kilometre (190-acre) village has a population (2012) of 762, which gives the village a population density of 1,016 inhabitants per square kilometre (2,630/sq mi).[1][3]
