Kallu (English: Eyes) is a 1988 Telugu neo realistic film based on the lives of blind people, written by Gollapudi Maruti Rao and directed by M. V. Raghu. The film won the state Nandi Award for Best Feature Film (bronze), Nandi Award for Best First Film of a Director, and Filmfare Award for Best Director – Telugu.[1] The film was showcased at the Indian panorama section of the International Film Festival of India. The film has garnered thirty awards and has garnered special mention from the CBFC Jury.[2][3]
