Kamla Nehru Memorial Hospital

Kamala Nehru Memorial Hospital (KNMH) is a state-owned hospital in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India.[1] The hospital had its beginnings in 1931 as a dispensary founded by Kamala Nehru in her ancestral house. This was formally converted into a hospital on 28 February 1941. Since 1994,[1] the oncology department of the hospital is Regional Cancer Centre, Allahabad.[2]

History

The Allahabad High Court on Tuesday directed the Kamla Nehru Memorial Hospital KNMH providing particulars whether it gave free processing to poor patients as per policy of cbe government and the State Government .[3] Hospitals procures medicine and other supplies at retail rate as per the accounts .[4]
