Kancha Kancha Q'asa (Quechua kancha enclosure, enclosed place, yard, a frame, or wall that encloses, q'asa mountain pass,[2][3] the reduplication indicates that there is a group or a complex of something, "Kancha Kancha mountain pass", Hispanicized spelling Canchacanchajasa) is a 4,987-metre-high (16,362 ft) mountain in the Urupampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Cusco Region, Calca Province, Calca District, north of the Willkanuta River. Kancha Kancha Q'asa is situated southeast of Siriwani, north of Kuntur Wachana and Wamanchuqi and southwest of Sawasiray. It lies in the upper part of the Kancha Kancha valley[4] (Cancha Cancha) at the Lares trek.
