History

Kappa Lambda Chi Military Fraternity Incorporated was founded on July 4, 2013, in Clinton, North Carolina. The organization was built as an alternative for male service members whom want to become a part of a Greek letter organization. There are three founding members: Sir Zachary D.S. Wyatt II, William Dickey, James K. Jackson. The founders took pride in the development of the first Greek-lettered military fraternity. Kappa Lambda Chi was incorporated on August 8, 2013 by men of the U.S. Armed Forces. Fraternity members currently serve or have previously served their country honorably in all branches of the United States Military.

Since 2013 Kappa Lambda Chi has remained focused on accentuating the positives of its members all the while striving to enhance the inherent qualities that all men possess. The following aspirations best describes the evolution:

  1. A Lambda Man is known to be a Thinking Man. Thought, Reason, and Intelligence is Essential.
  2. A Lambda Man continues to Evaluate and Reevaluate. Every Action, Program and Activity must be Justifiable.
  3. A Lambda Man makes every effort to be Creative. Must never be afraid of being Revolutionary or Different.
  4. A Lambda Man strives to be a Man of Action. We take the Very Best Men our Society has to Offer and Make them Great!

Kappa Lambda Chi members are expected to support veterans in need and their local communities through volunteer service. Members work with homeless shelters, abuse centers, children centers, and other organizations that provide hands on support to organization that often can’t afford or do not receive the support when funds from external sources are limited.
