Karagöl (Syriac: ܕܝܪ ܩܘܒܐ Deyrqube) is an Assyrian/Syriac village in the Alagöz district of Mardin Province, Turkey. It is located 10 kilometers east of district center. The village is populated by ethnic Assyrians/Syriacs, Aramaic speaking Christians.
The local church of Mor Jahkub was built in the 5th century as a monastery but this was destroyed in the 15th century by Tamerlane and rebuilt as a church.
