Karahacılı is a village in Yenişehir district of Mersin Province, Turkey where the capital city of Yenişehir district is actually a part of Greater Mersin. It is situated in the valley of Mezitli River between Bozön and Turunçlu at 36°49′N 34°26′E / 36.817°N 34.433°E. The distance to Mersin is 15 kilometres (9.3 mi). The population of the village is 728 [1] as of 2002.
