Karan V Grover (Hindi: करण वी ग्रोवर; born 22 June 1982[1]) is an Indian actor known for his work in television serials like Saarrthi (2004-2007) ,Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli (2009-2012) andBahu Hamari Rajni Kant (2016-)

Grover debuted in Bollywood through the film Wedding Pullav in 2015. He is currently working in a serial named Bahu Hamari Rajni Kantwhich is being aired on Life Ok

Personal life

Born and raised in Mumbai, Karan V Grover stays with his parents and a younger brother.[2]

He did chemical engineering from the Institute of Technology, Mumbai and Event Management course from NIEM (National Institute of Event Management).[2]

Career

For a year, he worked with Omang Kumar's Event management company and while doing events, he felt that he should come in front of camera. To fulfill his dream, he participated in the Gladrags manhunt contest in 2004, where he was amongst the top five finalists.[2]

Later, for one and half years, he was a VJ with Zee Music but was not satisfied and wanted to do something different.[2]

He came to know about Star Plus upcoming show through one of his friend, gave the audition and was selected as the male protagonist Arjun Goenka in Saarrthi.[2]

After Saarrthi, he did many shows like Meri Awaz Ko Mil Gayi Roshni, Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki, Yahaaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, Hum Aapke Hai In laws and Star Plus’s episodic Teri Meri Love Stories and Lakhon Mein Ek (TV series).[2] He also participated in dance reality show Nach Baliye 3 with Kavita Kaushik.[4] Karan's last serial is Punar Vivah - Ek Nayi Umeed on Zee TV.[5]He also started acting in films.

Karan V Grover won Kalakar Award for the Best Actor (Punar Vivah - Ek Nayee Umeed) in 2014. He also played Serial Killer in Gulmohar Grand Show.
