Awards Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Karl-Friedrich von der Meden[Note 1] (3 December 1896 – 26 December 1961) was a highly decorated Generalleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.

Von der Meden was married since 3 September 1921 to Anneliese von Wedderkop. He was the son of Otto and Anne von der Meden.
