Karl Christmann (16 June 1912 – 5 November 1944) was a highly decorated Oberfeldwebel in the Luftwaffe during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Karl Christmann was killed on 5 November 1944 after his bomber was attacked by British night fighters.
