Karl Pohlke

Karl Wilhelm Pohlke

Karl Pohlke (1810–1876)[1] was a German teacher of engineering whose Darstellende Geometrie, published in 1859, established the principle of axonometry, now called Pohlke's Theorem.

Pohlke was born and died in Berlin.[2] During his career, he taught engineering at a Technische Hochschule in Charlottenburg.
