Karthik Kumar (born 21 November 1977) is an Indian theatre and film actor. He is popularly known as 'Evam' Karthik, due to his theater connections. He studied chemical engineering in Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai. He is married to playback singer Suchitra Ramadurai.[1][2] He played the role of Arjun in the Vijay TV drama Dharmayutham. He is the founder of Evam entertainment based in Chennai. Some of the exceptional plays of Evam are The 39 Steps nominated under eight categories and won two national awards and Ali J which received more accolades during their appearance in Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2013.
