Kastrychnitski District (Belarusian: Кастрычніцкі раён, Russian: Октябрьский район, Oktyabrsky Raion), is an adiministrative subdivision of the city of Minsk, Belarus. It was named after the October Revolution.[1]
Geography
The district is situated in central and south-western area of the city and borders with the raions Lyeninski and Maskowski.
Transport
The main railway station of Minsk is located in Kastrychnitski. The district is also crossed by the subway and the tramway networks. It is also crossed by the beltway "MKAD".
