Countess Katarzyna Branicka (18251907) was a Polish noblewoman of the Korczak coat of arms, and art collector. Through her father she was rumoured to be a great-grandchild of Catherine the Great.

The portrait of her to the right was done by German painter Franz Winterhalter in 1854. A Chopin Waltz in A-flat major is dedicated to her. It is the final waltz by Chopin that was published in his lifetime.

She married Count Adam Józef Potocki on 26 October 1847 in Dresden. Jennah Karthes de Branicka, the German TV presenter and reporter of the Middle East with Lithuanian ancestors, belongs, among others, to the last actual descendants of the noble family "Branicki". The Branicki family has made its name in the Polish history.
