Kate Mulvany (born February 24, 1978) is an Australian actress and writer, known for The Great Gatsby (2013), Griff the Invisible (2010) and The Final Winter (2007). She has played lead roles with major Australian theater companies as well as appearing on television and in film.[1] In 2004 she won the Philip Parsons Young Playwrights Award.[2]

Kate Mulvany was born on February 24, 1978 at Geraldton, Western Australia, Australia.[3] In 1997, Mulvany received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Curtin University in Perth.[2]
