Kathleen Flake
Kathleen Flake was appointed chair of Mormon studies at the University of Virginia in 2013.[1] Previously she was a professor of American Religious History at the Divinity School and Graduate Department of Religion at Vanderbilt University. She has a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and a J.D. from the University of Utah. She was previously an attorney based in Washington, D.C. She has an M.A. from the Catholic University of America and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago.
Flake is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints [2] and served a mission in Japan.
