Kathryn Johnston Massar
Kathryn "Tubby" Johnston Massar was the first woman to play in a Little League Baseball game in 1950.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9]
Tubby's Rule
When the season had ended, as Little League meeting was held and girls were banned from Little League Baseball. It wasn't until Maria Pepe won a lawsuit in 1974 that girls were again allowed to play.[10]
