Kautilya Pandit is a child prodigy from a Kohand village of Karnal district in the Indian state of Haryana and now he is residing with his family in Panchkula, Haryana.

Memory power
Kautilya Pandit, aged about 6 years, (as of 2014)[1] displays good memory power regarding current affairs, general knowledge and geographical statistics.[2] He could recollect details of 213 countries and can answer questions about world geography, per capita income, gross domestic product, politics, the economy, etc.[1] Psychologists from Kurukshetra University have noted the grasping powers of Kautilya and expressed their desire to investigate his recalling capacity. C.R.Darolia, Chairman, Psychology Department said that "the boy is a wonder kid and he may have IQ around 130 which is rare for his age group." [3]
A series of T.V. shows displaying the memory power of Kautilya Pandit have made him known as "wonder kid" in Haryana and surrounding states and made him popular.[3] He is also nicknamed "Google boy".[4]
Recognitions
Government of Haryana has awarded Rs.10 lakh to Kautilya Pandit and assured all support for his future development.[2] During the award ceremony, Kautilya pointed out an error in his commendation certificate while receiving it from the Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on live television, which resulted in substantial embarrassment for the Government of Haryana.[5] Kashi Vidwan Parishat, Varanasi has awarded him "Bal Manishi" (Child prodigy) title.[4] He was host for Kaun Banega Crorepati show anchored by Amitabh Bachchan aired on 14 November 2013 (Children's day in India) and Amitabh Bachan was impressed by the memory power of Kautilya Pandit. In 2014 Kautilya Pandit personally met Dadi Gulzar the head of the Brahma Kumaris World Spiritual University to receive an honour. [6]
