Kayce Freed (born 1958) is a television producer.

Freed is currently a freelance producer. In 2006, she co-founded The Documentary Group.[1] She is a former producer of the 20/20 television show on ABC.

Education

In 1976, Freed graduated from Phillips Academy in Andover, Massachusetts,[2] as a member of one of the school's first coeducational classes. She graduated from Brown University and attended the London School of Economics.[3]

Relationship to Peter Jennings

Freed is Peter Jennings' widow. She became his fourth wife when they married on December 2, 1997.

She, along with her two stepchildren and sister-in-law, was beside Jennings when he died on August 7, 2005. After his death, she issued the following statement: "Peter died with his family around him, without pain and in peace. He knew he'd lived a good life." She inherited half his $50m estate.[4]
