Keaʻau High School is a public high school built in 1999 and located in Keaʻau, Hawaii.[2]

History

The school's mascot is the Cougar, and it is operated by the Hawaii State Department of Education. It was built to avoid overcrowding at Waiakea High School in Hilo and Pahoa High and Intermediate School in Pahoa.[3] The first senior class was in 2003, when a new sports stadium was completed.[4]

The school has a Career and Technical Education department.[5]
