Keezhattoor

Keezhattoor is a village 15 km north of Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district (Malabar region) in Kerala, India.[1] The birthplace of well celebrated Malayalam poet, Poonthanam Namboodiri is situated here. The residence of the 16th-century poet is still in existence. There is a proposal to make this house a monument of the poet.

The renowned pharmacy educational institution, Al shifa college of pharmacy is located in this picturesque village
