Keith Hanvey aka "Newton Heath Keith" (born 18 January 1952 in Manchester) is a retired English professional footballer who played for Manchester City, Swansea City, Rochdale, Grimsby Town and Huddersfield Town. His made only one Manchester City appearance, in a Texaco Cup match against Airdrie on 27 September 1971.[1]
Early career
Hanvey began his long career at Manchester City in 1971. Although he remained here until 1972 he only made one appearance for the first team.
Personal Life
Hanvey has 3 children including his only son, Richard, who unfortunately failed to make it into professional football, disappointing Keith to this day.
