Keith Kenny is an American musician and singer/songwriter based in Asbury Park, New Jersey. He plays an electrified acoustic guitar, a custom made suitcase kick-drum and a hi-hat during his live performances. He has been described as a "one man band" due to his percussive fingerstyle approach to the guitar, an array of effects pedals and simultaneous foot drumming. His music blends the genres of rock, folk, and blues.[1][2][3][4]
Kenny was nominated for multiple Asbury Park Music Awards for four consecutive years between 2008 & 2011 in categories of "Top Guitarist" and "Top Male Acoustic act". Kenny won "Top Male Acoustic Act" in 2008.[5] In 2010, his songs were featured in an audio book written by Alex Austin entitled The Red Album of Asbury Park.[6]
