Keith Uddin (born 24 February 1979 in London, England), also known as KU, is a record producer, sound engineer and songwriter. Among the many artists he has collaborated with are The Cure,[1] Nick Cave,[2] Paul McCartney, Madonna, No Doubt,[2] Björk,[2] Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson, James McCartney, Kate Winslet, Geri Halliwell. Other artists included here are, Oasis, Eagle Eye Cherry, Five, Vanessa-Mae, Vanessa Amorosi, and Spice Girls.

In 2008, Uddin produced The Cure's 13th studio album 4:13 Dream which topped the US Billboard Chart,[3] and the Friendly Fires's self-titled debut album 2008.

Most recently it was reported in Keyboard Magazine that Keith Uddin was working with Michael Jackson putting together the show for Jackson's sold-out "This Is It" concerts at the O2 Arena.[4] According to people close to Jackson at the time of his death, it was said that Jackson liked Uddin and had requested him specifically for the tour after a recording session took place at the Record Plant in Los Angeles late 2008 whilst Uddin was recording The Cure. Jackson had also requested that Uddin build and run him a recording studio within the mansion he was hiring in the UK for the duration of "This Is It" concerts, with designs for producing his next record with Uddin.

In 2010, Uddin was nominated for Producer of the Year at the Music Producers Guild Awards.[5]
