Kellie Jones

Kellie Jones (born 1959) is an American Associate Professor in Art History and Archaeology in African American Studies at Columbia University.
Biography
She got her Ph.D. in Yale University (1999).
Her research interests include African Diaspora and African American artists, Latin American and Latino/a artists, and problems in contemporary art and museum theory. [1]
In 2005, Kellie Jones is the inaugural recipient of the David C. Driskell Prize.[2]
Kellie Jones' book EyeMinded: Living And Writing Contemporary Art, was recently published by Duke University Press and offers a selection of her essays and art writing from 1985 to 2006.[3]
Kellie Jones has also worked as a curator for over three decades.[1]
