Kelly Garni is an American Hard rock musician and photographer, who is best known for playing in the band Quiet Riot.
Born in Los Angeles in 1957, Garni's family moved to Burbank, California in the early 1970s, where he met Randy Rhoads. He played bass with Quiet Riot for about five years, and appears on their 1977 self-titled album, as well as their second album, Quiet Riot II.
He currently lives in Boulder City, Nevada where he pursues art in between music projects.
On July 9, 2008, Kelly announced that he would be returning to music, in a band with Randy Rhoads' brother, Kelle Rhoads. The two old friends recorded an album with Wayne Findley of Michael Schenker fame and a blues album with Ohio blues legend Jerry Loos. They also toured Japan together, playing in small clubs with local musicians.[1]
As of October 2014, he is playing in a group called Super Troup with former Great White member Derrick Pontier, former Bonham singer Chas West, and former Bang Tango guitarist Scott LaFlamme.

Current life
Kelly Garni is currently putting his main focus on his art career. He has come up with a unique style that involves small seemingly insignificant objects he finds in the desert. Usually at remote mines and ghost towns. On April 21, 2013 Kelly Garni was inducted into the Las Vegas Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Reunion, The 80's alongside Mark Slaughter in early Las Vegas band Xcursion. On February 14, 2013 he released his autobiography entitled "Angels With Dirty Faces" . The book is his life story and details the role Randy Rhoads and his legacy have played throughout his life. The book is widely regarded as the best source of information on the late guitar hero's formative years. Starting out as two young boys who met in grade school, it also gives a personal glimpse into the kind of person Rhoads was away from his guitar. Kelly is still playing music and tours with various bands and has credits on a number of albums. Although he is most content in his art studio.
