Ken Paulson
Ken Paulson is the dean of the College of Mass Communication at Middle Tennessee State University,[1] and president of the Newseum Institute's First Amendment Center. He formerly edited USA Today and led the Freedom Forum and Newseum.[2] He graduated from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri [3] and the University of Illinois College of Law in Champaign, Illinois.
Paulson edited Gannett Company newspapers in Wisconsin, New York, New Jersey and Florida.[4]
He is a former president of the American Society of News Editors and was instrumental in moving the organization under the auspices of the University of Missouri.[5]
