Kendrick Releford, born February 3, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas, is a professional Heavyweight boxer.[1] Nicknamed "The Apostle", Releford is the former IBF Atlantic Coast and WBO Latino Heavyweight Champion.[2]

Amateur career

Releford won the Texas Golden Gloves and many other titles during his amateur career.[3]

Professional career

On October 28, 2004 Kendrick upset title contender Elieser Castillo to win the WBO Latino Heavyweight Championship. This bout was the main-event of an HBO boxing card.[4]

Releford lost to Mexican-American Chris Arreola on Goosen-Tutor's Blame It On Reno! fight card in Reno, Nevada. The bout was televised on ESPN as the main-event.[5]
