Kenneth Carter (born 1933) is an American politician who is a Democratic member of the Rhode Island House of Representatives, representing the 31st District since 5 January 1993.

Kenneth Carter was born in Scottsboro, AL on September 9, 1933.[1]

Carter is married to Sylvia Clark and together they have four children named Kenneth, Michael, Mitchell, and Matthew.[1]

Carter received his education from the following institution: Diploma, Jackson Country High School[1]

Politics

During the 2009-2010 sessions, he served on the House Committee on Finance, and served as Chairman of the House Committee on Veterans Affairs.[2] Carter was defeated for reelection on 4 November 2010 by Doreen Marie Costa[3]
