Kennishead (Scots: Kennisheid, Scottish Gaelic: Ceann Ceanais)[1] is a district in the Scottish city of Glasgow. It is south of the River Clyde and borders the district of Carnwadric. The area is dominated by Three high rise tower blocks.
The area is also home to the disused farm from which it takes its name from, formerly owned by Sir John Maxwell.
Kennishead railway station is on the Glasgow South Western Line to Barrhead.
Kennishead was originally called "Kenneth's Head"[2]
