Kentaro Asahi (朝日健太郎 Asahi Kentarō) (born September 19, 1975 in Kumamoto, Kumamoto) is a beach volleyball player from Japan.
Asahi is a former volleyball player, and played as a center for the Men's National Team in the 1990s. He ended up in sixteenth place at the 1998 World Championship, and later on started a career in beach volleyball. He and team mate Katsuhiro Shiratori also represented Japan in beach volleyball at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, China and the 2012 London Olympics.[1]
