Kentucky Route 167 is a two-lane state highway located entirely within Wayne County, Kentucky in south-central Kentucky. It originates in Monticello, branching off KY Business 90, about a half-mile south of the town square, court house and Doughboy statue.

Route description

KY 167, a rural secondary highway as classified by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, runs for almost exactly 20 miles (32 km) from Monticello to the Kentucky/Tennessee border, where, upon entering Tennessee, the road is known as Tennessee Route 154. The terrain is mountainous, and the two-lane road is unpaved in spots, and travelers are cautioned to take their time and to remain alert while driving it: the 20-mile (32 km) route takes approximately one hour to drive because of these factors.

Unincorporated communities along the route include Number One, Wray Gap, Cooper, Sumpter and Mount Pisgah.

Major intersections

The entire route is in Wayne County.
