Kentucky Route 2862 (KY 2862) is a 1.633-mile-long (2.628 km) state highway in the U.S. state of Kentucky. The route is located entirely in Shelbyville.
Route description
The route originates at a junction with KY 55 in a business section of Shelbyville. The route begins as two-lane Pearce Industrial Road and heads west as multiple factories line the road. It then turns northwest and becomes Old Finchville Road, passing multiple houses and open fields. 1.111 miles (1.788 km) from KY 55, the KY 2862 crosses a railroad and turns toward the north, passing by hundreds of homes on the right. KY 2862 ends at its eastern terminus 0.522 miles (0.840 km) north of the railroad tracks at US 60/KY 55 Business.
