Kentucky Route 403 (KY 403) is a 17.633-mile-long (28.378 km) north–south state highway that mostly traverses Butler County in west-central Kentucky, and a small part of southern Ohio County in northwest Kentucky.
Route description
KY 403 begins at a junction with U.S. Route 231 (US 231) south of Morgantown. After one mile (1.6 km) into the highway, the route traverses the William H. Natcher Parkway via an overpass before reaching the small town of Woodbury. KY 403 then makes a sharp turn to the northwest towards Butler County's seat, Morgantown, where it again meets US 231, and it runs concurrently with the US Route and KY 79 in downtown Morgantown near the studios of WLBQ radio.
KY 403 overlaps US 231/KY 79 until the intersection with Veterans Way (KY 70). KY 403 turns onto KY 70 for under 0.1 miles (0.16 km). KY 403 makes a turn one Logansport Road. It traverses a second overpass over the Natcher Parkway, and intersects KY 269 near Logansport, and then makes a dead end in a bend with the Green River.
KY 403 does not connect between Cromwell and Logansport, as ferry service in that area has been discontinued for decades. The other part of KY 403 in Ohio County runs for 0.874 miles (1.407 km) between the river and US near Cromwell.
