Kentucky Route 685 (KY 685) is a 13.04-mile-long (20.99 km) rural secondary state highway located entirely in Barren County in south-central Kentucky.

Route description

KY 685 begins at a junction with KY 1297 at Beckton. It crosses the Louie B. Nunn Cumberland Parkway via an overpass before intersecting the concurrent pairing of U.S. Route 68 (US 68) and KY 80 (Bowling Green Road) between Glasgow and Bon Ayr. KY 685 moves on to the north-northeast to intersect KY 2189 (Park City-Glasgow Road) and move on towards Cave City.

Just south of Cave City near Prewitt's Knob, KY 685 turns at the intersection KY 2143 (Old Happy Valley Road), and then crosses KY 90 (Happy Valley Road). It continues northeast, and reaches its northern terminus at a junction with KY 70 about 1.5 miles (2.4 km) outside of the eastern outskirts of Cave City.[3]
