Kepong (Chinese: 甲洞) is a town at the borders of Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, located about 6 km from downtown Kuala Lumpur, to the south of Sungai Buloh, to the east of Bukit Lanjan, to the west of Selayang and to the north of Segambut.

Transportation
Public transport
- There are two KTM stations: KA06 Kepong station and the later built KA07 Kepong Sentral station. Both stations are located on the KTM Komuter Rawang-Seremban route. Kepong Sentral is also served by a limited number of ETS services (KL to Ipoh).
- RapidKL, Metrobus and Selangor Omnibus provides bus transport in the area.
Car
Five main roads serve Kepong: the LDP , the MRR2 , Jalan Kuching , Jalan Ipoh and Jalan Kuala Selangor (highway ). This made Kepong very accessible from most parts of the Klang Valley and even the East Coast state of Pahang.

Kepong is one of the 11 parliamentary constituencies of the federal territory of Kuala Lumpur represented in the Malaysian Parliament. The current Member of Parliament representing the constituency is Tan Seng Giaw from the Democratic Action Party.
