Music at Kew High School

The school's theatre "The Renaissance Centre" is regularly used by other schools and community organisations for performances with a capacity of 470 people. Kew High School is home to numerous amateur school bands and ensembles, including the Concert Band, Swing Band, Guitar Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble and Chinese Orchestra among others. These bands often perform in public concerts including at the Kew Festival, Federation Square, the school's annual Presentation Evening, Royal Melbourne Hospital's wellbeing festival and Bennett's Lane Jazz Club.
