Khaled Medhet al-Fiqi

Khaled Medhet al-Fiqi (also Abdul Samee) was an alleged member of Egyptian Islamic Jihad.[1]

He had used his apartment as a warehouse for the group to store weapons and ammunition.[1] He had been among the many arrested in the government crackdown following the assassination of Anwar Sadat, as he walked alone the Nile in Maadi carrying a case of explosives.[1]

In 1988, he helped Essam al-Qamari, Khamis Muslim and Mohamed al-Aswani escape from prison.[1] In 1999, he was accused of conspiring with Muhammad al-Zawahiri to carry out attacks in Egypt.[1]
