Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar (Urdu: خلیل الرحمان قمر‎) is a playwright of Pakistani television.[1][2] His notable work includes “Boota from Toba Tek Singh”, aired from PTV World and “Landa Bazar (TV series)” (aired on PTV).[3] His recent work “Pyarey Afzal” and "Sadqay Tumhare" are top rated dramas that broke many records and known for strong and beautiful dialogues.[4][5][6][7] On 9th Dec 2015; Humayun Saeed one of the Co-founders of Six Sigma Entertainment announced that his Production Company will be collaborating with Khalil Saab, where Khalil will be exclusively writing for the Production Company.[8]

Personal life

He belonged to a poor family and had a passion for writing but, his father was not happy with his writing habit and wanted him to pursue a career. To fulfill his fathers wish he became a banker but was so dejected to give up his love for writing that for many years he did not write his name in Urdu. The famous Hum tv Drama serial Sadqay Tumhare directed by "Mohammed Ehteshamuddin" produced by "Momina Duraid" is an autobiography of writer.
