Political Ideology

Its ideology is primarily left-wing as explained by Liv Ann the Khmer Improvement Party will create democracy by choosing to “enforce decentralization of political power in the rural areas.” It does also has a kind of combination of left and right wing ideology where it tries to improve society by fixing the Cambodian structures of it. The president explained that KIP will do that by choosing to “focus on poverty reduction " and construct a "plan for people to have wells and electricity in their villages."[1]
